Canadian skaters win Olympic gold in men"s team pursuit
Canadians won their 11th gold medal on the 16th day of the 2010 Winter Olympic Games in Vancouver in speed skating after winning men"s team pursuit.
Mathieu Giroux, Lucas Makowsky and Denny Morrison finished the distance at the Richmond Olympic Oval in 3 minutes 41.37 seconds leaving behind just 0.21 seconds the team from the United States with the silver.
The Dutch team, led by Sven Kramer, won the race for the bronze against the team from Norway, setting the new Olympic Record of 3 minutes 39.95 seconds.

Canadian snowboarder Jasey Jay Anderson brought his Olympics-hosting country 12th gold medal after winning in men"s parallel giant slalom.
