The Sovetsky Sport daily said the Italian coach of the England team had met with the head of Russian football"s governing body at last weekend"s match between Chelsea and Manchester City.

The paper said Sergei Fursenko expressed his desire to work with Capello in the future, and the England manager instructed the Russian Football Union head to speak to his agent.

Hiddink"s final match as Russia"s coach takes place later on Wednesday when the team plays Hungary in Budapest.

The Dutch trainer has announced he will leave the side to manage Turkey after failing to take Russia to the 2010 World Cup finals.
