Generations to come should never be allowed...

January 27, the day that the Auschwitz death camp was liberated by Soviet forces, is marked around the world as International Holocaust Remembrance Day.

"The generations who did not witness the horrors of war, should know about them. And we all should remember the terrible price that humanity paid for turning a blind eye to xenophobia and chauvinism. Remember, that six million people were killed only for being Jews," the Russian leader said in a statement.

He also said that the international community should unite against attempts to revise history and to glorify the Nazis.
