Poland expressed on Saturday satisfaction...

Kaczynski, his wife, and an official delegation of senior officials were killed when the plane taking them to a ceremony to pay tribute to some 20,000 Polish officer murdered by Soviet secret police crashed near west Russia"s Smolensk.

A Polish delegation headed by Defense Minister Bogdan Klich visited the Interstate Aviation Committee (IAC), a civil body that oversees civil aviation in the CIS, an alliance of former Soviet republics.

"The Polish side expressed satisfaction with the carrying out of the investigation...and also with the large volume of work undertaken in a short time," an IAC statement said

Russian Deputy Prime Minister Sergei Ivanov said at a meeting with Klich earlier on Saturday that data from the plane"s flight recorders would provide a clear answer on what exactly happened to the aircraft.
